Lawrence Plaza Redevelopment: Project Overview  

The Lawrence Plaza Redevelopment, a mixed-use community planned for Toronto’s Englemount-Lawrence Manor neighbourhood, will include seven towers ranging from 12 to 40 storeys, along with a six-storey mid-rise. Designed by Diamond Schmitt Architects, the project will unfold in six phases, beginning with Block A, and will ultimately bring 2,693 new units in various floor plans to the area. These will include 147 studio units, 684 one-bedrooms, 996 one-bedrooms plus den, 590 two-bedrooms, and 276 three-bedrooms. Blocks A through E will offer shared indoor and outdoor amenities, including second-level courtyards. Block E will feature more outdoor space per unit and will be located near a new daycare and a nearly 43,000 sq ft public park. The plan also includes 1,298 parking spaces (864 for residents, 136 for residential visitors, and 298 for retail), along with 2,072 bicycle parking spots.
